MSCS WEEKEND RACES ARE BOTH RAINED OUT
Haubstadt, IN - August 14, 2016 - Saturday evening and Sunday
morning rains, with a forecast for more later today, have forced the
cancellation of the rescheduled “Spring Fling” August 14th at the
Terre Haute Action Track. The original date of May 1st was washed
out also. This time the MSCS event will not be rescheduled.
The weekend companion event scheduled on Saturday at Tri-State
Speedway was also cancelled because of rain. It was only the second
time in twelve seasons that the Hoosier Sprint Nationals at Haubstadt
could not be held because of rain.
The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series will race next on Sunday
September 4th at the Tri-State Speedway. The “Labor Day Weekend
Challenge” will pay $3,000 to win! Only three races remain on the
2016 schedule and all three are at Tri-State Speedway.
