Does anyone know a good resource to learn sprint car and midget technical information (diagrams of parts, chassis setups, motors, etc? Example: Someplace where a person (me) can go and look at a birdcage, what it does and why you would make an adjustment?

For someone new, go to or type in Steve Smith AutoSports. And get the old Jimmy Sills Book and DVD. They do come up at Speedway Motors. Yes, most people will say they are a joke. But they have a lot of info.
The other thing I would do if you can, is buy a pitpass and go to a team tell them who you are and you want to learn about cars and parts.
Engines, thats the black art of sprint cars. Know that info and you can make a sprint car go fast.
