Smart move by T mac. Not showing up for big paying races. Then listen to him howl when these big money shows go away. Only caring about putting money in his pocket, even if it to not race, only benefits him & not the sport. Money now and less money & fewer tracks to race at in the future.
Won't race at the track Tod owns but welcomes his help at Osky to help car count & ticket sales!

Seriously. What are you talking about? Do I need to get you multiple results from this season at Jackson of Terry, Austin, AND Carson McCarl? Or do you just wanna admit you typed something completely dumb without thinking it through? Jeez

How many 360 races has TMAC run at Badlands and in total this year?
Just curious as it would seem strange to not run a 360 for the same $2500 to win that you've been racing 410's for for years when you've already made the trip.
It would seem that he's being told/paid not to run on half price Sunday nights.

Wow. So chuck not only bought him a house, and pays him under the table to come run Saturdays:-). Now he pays him NOT to run on Sunday's?!?! Ummm why would chuck not want him to race Sunday's? Please explain your thoughts behind that.
Also, I just read Terry's latest press release and it said that they wanted "shake down the 360 a couple times before 360 nationals." I also thought someone said that last years 360 motor was owned by the guy at the telephone company by Knoxville. Not sure if that's the case this year again, but if it is, maybe he doesn't have free reigns to race that motor every week??
I could be wrong I guess. But still curious as to why Chuck would tell someone of that caliber not to run Sunday nights

Yes he did, has he run his 360 there any other week?
The reason to pay him not to run is simple. If you have the same 4-5 "names" running both Saturday night and Sunday night there is no reason to pay $20 to see them on Saturday when you can pay $10 to see them on Sunday.
It's about keeping the percieved value of the Saturday night show higher than the Sunday night show. Its the same reason that the WoO doesn't want their contracted drivers running weekly shows everywhere. It dilutes the value of their brand.

So, what you're saying is, from a business standpoint, it would make sense to pay Terry to go to a Weezer concert?

If TK is on the payroll and if Chuck believed he was a big enough name to draw a crowd then yes it would make sense to tell him to not run on Sunday night.
I don't think that TK is on the payroll. The logistics of where the team is based and the track size/style of driving fit TK to a T. There is no reason to believe that TK or the team need any additional reason to race there.
I don't know for a fact that TMAC is on the payroll, but there are more reasons to believe that he is than there are to believe that he is not.
