Headed back home to PA to visit family in Carlisle and Mechanicsburg the weekend of 16-18 Sep (Fri-Mon). Looking at the schedules, I will catch Williams Grove Friday, Port is off Saturday leaving what looks like a regular show at Lincoln and the Jim Nace Memorial Nat Open at Selinsgrove on Saturday the 17th. I've been to both tracks several times, so I know the layout, etc. My question is, how big of a race is the Selinsgrove Nat Open? Will that draw a bigger field that night than Lincoln? I'd like to see Hodnett and the other big PA starts too. Don't know about Susquehana for Sunday - couldn't get their website to come up.

Also, I'd like to meet some of you PA Hoseheads guys and place a face to a name (even Staggered Lee!! - just kidding, had to take the dig brother) Smile I'm sure Wizzard and others will be at Lincoln though, so if I pick Selinsgrove, I guess I'd miss ya.

Thanks - look forward to September. Jeff King, Dayton

Lincoln also does not have a 410 race that weekend if my memory is correct, but all the heavy hitters Hodnett, Dietrich, Marks, and Lucas etc. should be at selinsgrove that night

Lincoln usually has the super sportsman 100 on the night of the Selinsgrove 410 Open/Jim Nace memorial. Selinsgrove pays 10G to win and most of the heavy hiters will be there.  Selinsgrove gets dusty and is need of new clay but when they have the surface good, it's still the best 1/2 mile track (racing wise) in central PA. Sit up in turn 1 for the best view and wear goggles.

Oh, super LM's as the support division makes Selinsgrove a can't miss 2 division show. The All-Stars have off that weekend and the last I heard Selinsgrove was trying to get them to sanction the Nace Memorial. That was a month ago and no announcement yet. Hope it happens! My guess is that the All-stars are probably trying to find a second track for Friday or Sunday to make it worthwhile to tow in. Hopefully someone steps up to the plate. All-stars are great show along with the PA Posse. You would think tracks would jump at the opportunity - obviously Williams Grove, Susky, Big Diamond, Clinton County, Grandview, maybe a NJ, DE or NY track? Someone step up!
