You realize I'm on Knoxville's side, right? I'd rather not see Knoxville go, considering I live about four hundred yards from the fairgrounds? Why do I care? Because the series is eventually going to go to shit if that continues to happen and there won't be a 5,000.00 to win race each Saturday night at Knoxville unless someone else steps up? How does that not make sense? Tod is helping the sport, I UNDERSTAND THAT. Jesus fucking christ. Do you think before you type? I didn't say Tod was, I said Chuck was, trying to monopolize up there.

But does the NSL need improving, hell yes it does. I know it pays better throughout the field. Do you think I don't watch racing to know what Tod does for it? Jesus man. I don't even care if Huset's is invloved, I think an actual traveling series with the potential to have 10-15 cars would be awesome.

How is it possible you might ask? Start by offering them a contract to sign, like a "platinum" deal with the outlaws, put the point fun back to what it was, and go from there. I do appreciate what he's done thus far, it's great, but there is room for improvement and hopefully it doesn't fold like the NST before it had a chance to take off.

About a 9 on the tension scale. LOUD NOISES, I can use caps too.

First of all, Knoxville isn't going anywhere so I wouldn't lose sleep over that.  " Because the series is eventually going to go to shit if that continues to happen and there won't be a 5,000.00 to win race each Saturday night at Knoxville unless someone else steps up? How does that not make sense?"   So you want the NSL to go to other tracks besides Knoxville because if they continue to visit Knoxville every other week the 5k to win each sat will go away?  And I'm pretty sure knox only pays 5k to win when the NSL is in town which btw isn't every week.   Also a side note, What the hell are you talking about?  You have no valid argument and we are all dumber (if that is really a word) for listening to you.

Your "platinum" idea holds no water since that doesn't fix all 3 tracks.  Do us all a favor and just stop posting.

We're basically talking about 6 cars here.

terry McCarl always raced both Places    Carson now has a 360 car based 5 miles from badlands so I'm sure that's part of it for terry as well

Austin would much rather race Jackson and badlands because of motors etc..., and Austin has what....one maybe 2 Full full seasons at Knoxville? Otherwise he's been hit or Miss  (Maybe this plays a part in Terry's decision as well)

Lynton has raced both  but I heard he has a car owner somewhere up in Sioux Falls area  (I could be wrong)

Henderson had a baby in Sioux Falls and I'm sure that plays a role with everything.  Plus their tow money is the max coming from Newton.

Zomer BWW has had a scattered schedule the last couple years and they will absolutely NOT race an NSL show because Tod screwed that up

Kaeding (Lunstra) how many full full seasons have they had at Knoxville?  They didn't last year!

Half of everyone don't like Terry anyhow so what do they care?

Half of everyone don't like BWW chief and bashes that team over the last few seasons, but now everyone's pissed cuz it ain't there.

Half of everyone always said Henderson never races anywhere but Knoxville the last 2-3 years or so but now everyone's heart broken cuz he's racing 12 miles from his House?

Lynton is best friends with TMAC, and has always been competitive at Husets.  Heck Saturday night he set quick time and broke on the first lap of the A and left with $2,100.   You're crazy if you wouldn't take that.

Paige polyak is based out of Minnesota and Loves racing badlands and has been competitive almost every time she's raced there dating back to last season when she set quick time with the NSL

Why is everyone making it sound like these 4-6 cars are the End-All, Be-All for Knoxville and the sprint car world in general?  So you might've had 23 cars instead of 18 Last Saturday.  Would we all be happy with 23 cars?  Nope we will still ask why knoxville doesn't have enough cars for a B feature anymore.

I don't agree with most of your posts but this one is pretty spot on.

I'll second  what facebookstalker just said. However the people stating the musical chairs with the BDUBS car weren't just followers of Knoxville. That was the general consensus all over.

PA faithful boo'd Freddy Rhamer too, but what happened when the WOO came to town? People boo Terry, people boo Sammy, but that doesn't mean you don't want to see them race. I boo Schatz, and even boo'd Steve Kinser, but I loved watching them race. Racing's better when theirs a hero and and anti hero....

Both tracks will do fine.... however if Chuck's intentions are otherwise, who knows.

Look at it this way guys:

Chuck Brennen and investors have MULTIPLE business from pawn shops, loan centers, entertainment groups, and bands. He has been a VERY sucessful businessman since a very young age and that hasnt changed. Also he has INVESTED a big chunk of change into a Brand in the SIoux Falls Area and two TOP OF THE LINE facilties.

Tod Quring and his investors if he has any have MULTIPLE business from tree stands, trail cameras, rental properties, land, and about everything to do with outdoors besides an ATV and GUNS. He is also VERY sucessful and runs 3 TOP NOTCH racing teams and helps out a hand ful of others as we as has a pretty big chunk of change investeed into a Track and Series. This will not change and it will continue to grow

Then you have Knoxville who is ran by John McCoy and 24 not so smart Dutch Farmers who cant wait to crack open some beers and talk about crop prices. They havent changed anything in the last 10 years and just ran with the "Sprint Car Capital in the World" tagline. Awesome they brought in Spire Sports but I think its a little to late. And we all know in all of sports who some of the biggest flops or the "little to late" are and have happened.

Watch for some HUGE things in the next 3 years in the upper midwest and they wont be happening in the 641 Area Code...

"just ran with the "Sprint Car Capital in the World" tagline."  This is a bad take.  Knoxville is and always will be the Sprint Car Capital of the world.  Not a bad tagline to run and stick with.  Also, I'm pretty sure I've never heard ESPN ever speak the words of any other dirt track in the world.

I was convinced that the only way this thread could get dumber was if the name of one of the Kardasians came up.  I was wrong.

Hey Ford. You went silent.  Who are these 360 field fillers you speak of? Sure as heck wasnt 19 of them to make "the car counts not very far off!"   You're a moron.

1. ive seen a 360 beat the 410's at Husets more than once over the years.  It's a 3/8ths mile track. are you able to comprehend that?

2.  It pays $700 to start the A Main!

If you lived close enough, and the track was small enough, and the pay was good enough, and you know if it slicks off you have a chance to be competitive, you telling me you wouldn't do it?   Heck iv seen 360's in an outlaw show and pray it slicks off.  So what?!?.

Your argument is stupid.  And you too Gridiron

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner!   Best post yet on this particular thread.    All these threads are roughly the same.   By the time they get to a third page they've usually turned to crap, and this one is no different.

Agreed. I would like to see more cars, but if 18 - 410s and 20 - 360s put on that good of a show, I won't complain.  There was some excellent racing to be seen in Knoxville.  And getting over at a decent time is always a nice bonus!

there were 58 sprintcars in pits at Knoxville 305-360-410

Knoxville needs to do some co-sanctioning like Badlands is doing with NOSA group.

Bring in IRA, MOWA, All Stars a couple times a year and the car counts will be better.

That would of course be in 2017 since everyone is booked up solid this year.

Huset's is nowhere close to a 3/8. It's a 3/10 at the very most, I'd actually say a little over a 1/4.

Been hearing Knoxville stories lately, been hearing some NSL rumors lately but I am not saying anything until they prove to be true or a bunch of bullshit.

No need for a neutral track....

I will take Justin Henderson, Tim Kaeding, Mark Dobmeier, Paige Polyak, Terry McCarl, Dusty Zomer and Lynton Jeffery for the nationals this year.

You guys have your #teamknoxville guys. we have our #teambadlands guys.

Then we will see if any of them come up our way for the rock and roll cup and go from there.

And yes believe or not a 360 has raced with the 410s to at knoxville so get over it.
