I have been to 5 races this season, 1 was at Jackson, 2 at Knoxville and 2 and Badlands.  I plan on spending my money where the best field of cars will be and what I expect to be the best race for the weekend or night.

I plan on hopefully being able to make the Silver Shootout a yearly trip.  Cool concept, early in the season.

I was at Knoxville last night, when a local won vs the Outlaws.  Local = anyone who is aquiring any Knoxville,Badlands,Jackson or NSL points in my opinion.  I don't recall if Jackson is having a seperate point fund or not.

Drivers going for Badlands points are going to be at Jackson most Fridays or ND.  Drivers going for Knoxville points will most likely be also running for NSL points.  Can we stop with this debate of Badlands vs Knoxville and just support both tracks.

Thanks to Chuck Brennan who paid Time Kaeding a 10k payout on the same night that Knoxville had a WoO show.

Im sure Tim appreciates it as well.

Congrats to Terry McCarl who had a 15k weekend between both tracks.

For those of you from the Sioux Falls area, appreciate that you now have a Saturday night weekly show close to home.  I grew up with one myself and spent a lot of Saturday's going to the races with my dad. A bond we still share today.

For those of you in the Des Moines area, sorry that the car count has dropped some, but the 360s and 305s can put on some pretty good shows to if you pay attention.  (Watch that 40 car) If you have a Saturday that looks like rain close to home, run up to Badlands and check it out if you've never been, that 3/8 mile racing is a pretty nice change once in a while.

From someone who has been to the last 25 Nationals, the first ever Silver Shootout, 1 Kings Royal, hopefully I can add to that lisst, attended a weekly show at Williams Grove and an All-Star race at Lincoln Speedway I've seen a few tracks.  The NSL gave me an opportunity to see a few more last year as well, so I hope that series sticks around.  Let's just appreciate our options. If rain comes on Friday, you have 2 options on Saturday, if rain comes Saturday, you might be able to drive a few extra hours and find a 40 car show or if your really in need of a race, there might be one to go to on Sunday still.

In the end, after a rant, support your local track(s) and buy a local guy's (or gal's) t-shirt.

Badlands gave 4 free pitpasses to all teams last night. When has that ever happened before? Saved me $120.  Thank You Chuck.

Forget about Trump and Hillary, you make understandable sense and do not attack anybody. You should run for President.
