I think we're overreacting just a little bit. Dale Blaney is an all timer with a top ride. No surprise. Chad kemenah is also a great driver with an improved ride. It's not like Cap Henry or Palker came in here and won.

I like the "few unnamed drivers", I wonder if one of them is John Westbrook!!

I guess he had nothing else to write about.

The Outlaws as a whole are a lot stronger this year, and the format may help, although the Posse usually qualifies pretty well.

Let's look at the top 7 Outlaw teams:

Schatz- Obviously a threat, but he hasn't been qualifying well as of late.

Stewart- Never has really threatened in PA, I don't see him as a favorite

Pittman- Outlaws best shot at the Grove other than Schatz, he's running significantly better this year and will be a favorite

Sweet- Wild card, won at Port, has been fast at Lincoln, usually out to lunch at Grove.

Saldana- He'll qualify well, be a threat for a top 5, but can't seem to master the ultra-slow, slicked off Grove with the 21 second lap times

Gravel- Another wild card, has shown he can get it done, even showing the will to move slower cars out of his way Smile

JJ- Not sure how fast he'll be, but he's much improved from 2015.

If the races were at Bedford, Port and Selinsgrove, I don't think there'd be much doubt, the Outlaws would likely sweep, but the Posse have an advantage at the Grove and Lincoln, should be fun.

On the Posse side I think Dewease is such an unknown right now after only a handful of shows and it's hard to gauge Stevie Smith. Those two would be a big boost to the Posse side but they aren't out there every night so hard to gauge what they'll bring.

But the WoO is absolutely improved this year. I think the new format really really gives an advantage to them based on qualifying.

Are they saving the 51S for the really big shows?

I was surprised they didn't run with the Allstars over the weekend.

It's a rather daunting challenge to run with the big dogs when you run twice a week let alone twice in a couple months.

If they dust off the car and driver, and do well in  a couple weeks, then they are better than anyone gives them credit for.

They've been doing the same thing since that team formed and they've been whooping everyone's asses most of the time so I don't see why anything would change now. I'd bet a large sum of money that they win at 7 or 8 races this year. It will probably be more like 10 or 12.

I've pretty much had the shits of the whole Outlaws vs. Posse thing. I just want to see a good race where everyone makes it back to the trailer in 1 piece. I don't really care who wins. I do think the Outlaws will be tougher to beat this year than they have in quite awhile.

The Posse is going to win one way or another. Damn near every Outlaw crew chief is Posse born and bred. Outlaw motto is if you can't beat 'em, buy 'em.

I'm with ya' - even if that 15 car wins.

That said - the old PA boys: Fred, Moon, and Stevie  - can sure make this old PA boy proud

They can say "Broken Arrow, Oklahoma" all they want. I still hear 'New Oxford, PA' Smile

I don't live in Pa., so haven't had time to get sick of it yet, but its fun to root for "the home team". KInd of Mom & pop stores vs. Walmart.

I go a few times each summer, But I don't take it so seriously, its just fun

Bunch of guys going in circles....

Go Posse!

That about sums it up. Wonder how long till Danny Dietrich's mechanic is on the Outlaw Trail? Money Talks!
