I am stoked about the 2008 WOO schedule. It's currenly set up for nine races in nine nights for the west coast swing. 7 nights of WOO and 2 nights of 360's in between. I already have a crew ready to fly into Seattle, rent a van and work our way down the coast back to the bay area. This may be the greatest weekend of my life!!!

Any other Pac Northwest or NorCal fans out there excited about this? Not many places you can have 9 races in 9 nights, except for Florida Speedweeks.

Here is the tentative schedule:

  • WOO - Aug. 29 Friday Skagit Speedway Alger, Wash.
  • WOO - Aug. 30 Saturday Skagit Speedway Alger, Wash.
  • NSCS 360's - Aug. 31 Sunday Grays Harbor Raceway Elma, Wash.
  • WOO - Sept. 1 Monday Grays Harbor Raceway Elma, Wash.
  • WOO - Sept. 2 Tuesday Cottage Grove Speedway Cottage Grove, Ore.
  • Civil War 360's - Sept. 3 Wednesday Silver Dollar Speedway Chico, Cali
  • WOO- Sept. 4 Thursday Silver Dollar Speedway Chico, Cali
  • WOO - Sept. 5 Friday Silver Dollar Speedway Chico, Calif
  • WOO - Sept. 6 Saturday Silver Dollar Speedway Chico, Calif.

It would be fun to make all nine nights. I don't think the boss would like it though.

I think it is missing THE most scenic venue the United States has to offer!!!!! Its truly a shame that CALISTOGA lost its privilege to continue supporting the Outlaws. What are we going to do for my mom's birthday next year?

How come Calistoga isn't on the schedule next year?
