Hey fans and race teams....The O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series has two big events scheduled for this coming weekend with Jacksonville's Morgan Co. Speedway hosting on Friday the 14th and the annual Knowles Classic at Spoon River Speedway on Saturday the 15th. $2,000 to win and $200 to start each night. With much of the midwest, including Knoxville, done for the season, this would be a great weekend to travel to central Illinois for some outstanding winged sprint car racing.

Race teams should contact Series Director Steve Libby at 314-691-7503 for more info or call me at 641-226-5187 or email at [email protected]. Hopefully, we'll have a big turnout at the gate and in the pits and show everyone that big-time winged sprint car racing is alive and well in the midwest!

POWRI midgets are alive and well with 36 midgets, their usual tons of 1200 micros, and outstanding racing. Winged 410 MASS was not (21 cars) at Jacksonville. Feature was ok till the track took rubber. Heats were rather ho hum compared to both POWRi classes.

John Katich should stick to doing talk shows on the internet. As an announcer he is not at all entertaining, nor to well informed it seems either.

Harsh perhaps, but thats how I saw it, and heard it.

If you don't think enough of the fans to post the results, I think I am going to pass on Canton tonight

Maybe someone should take a lesson from ASCS. There PR person can get the results in from all over the country and they are posted with no errors and very timely.
