FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CORY KRUSEMAN SPRINT CAR SCHOOL RETURNS TO OVAL NATIONALS!

(SEPTEMBER 5, 2007, PERRIS, CA) For the second year in a row, The Cory Kruseman Sprint Car Driving School will close nearly a full week of activities surrounding the 12th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals, presented by Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply, at Perris Auto Speedway on Sunday, November 4th. The school will have a morning and afternoon session on the same half-mile clay oval where the best drivers in the nation will battle it out for a $30,000.00 first prize the previous night.

"Starting with the Tuesday before the race we have a lot going on with the Oval Nationals," Perris promoter Don Kazarian said with a smile. "We get a lot of fans from all over the country and this will be a great opportunity for them to drive a real sprint car on a real race track. Imagine yourself heading into turn one at The PAS with 630 horsepower at your toe as you slide sideways in a 1,200 pound sprint car. It is a blast and it can make a great early Christmas present!"

In addition to getting to drive a real sprint car on a real racetrack, students will be tutored by one of the best in the business. "Cory is a great instructor and very patient with his students," Kazarian said. "All of the students emerge from the cars with an ear to ear grin and a true appreciation of what these cars can do."

Kruseman is one of the greatest sprint car drivers of this era and among his many wins and titles you will find:

2004 Oil USAC/CRA Champion

2000 & 2004 Chili Bowl Champion

2003 & 2004 Oval Nationals Champion

2003 & 2005 Indiana Sprint Week Champion

2001 SCRA Champion

2001 Non Winged Sprint Car Driver of the Year

1991 USAC Western States TQ Champion

For more information or to register for the school, give Cory a call at: (805) 649-1243. You can E-mail the professor at: [email protected] and you can check out his website at: www.kruseman.com/home.htm

The Oval Nationals will encompass six days in 2007. On Tuesday afternoon, October 30th, the 2nd Annual Oval Nationals Golf Classic will take place at the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Course followed that evening by the Golf Tournament Banquet. On Wednesday night October 31st, there will be a practice session open to all Oval Nationals entered cars and it will be free for the fans in the grandstands. The first night of the racing will be Thursday, November 1st and it will feature qualifying for all cars followed by heats, semi mains and an A main. Friday November 2nd will feature the same wild program as Thursday. During the daytime on Saturday, November 5th, the Annual Pick-a-Part $1,000.00 to win Cornhole (bean bag) Tournament will be held. Saturday night will feature the main events including the $30,000.00 to win A main. The week will conclude with the Cory Kruseman Sprint Car Driving School on Sunday, November 6th.

Hmmmm....

I wonder if there's a chance in hell of scheduling a similar event for Sunday, October 21, 2007???

I'll personally pay for several of the local (this forum) "porch pilots" to cinch 'er up, mash the loud pedal, go fast/turn left (or so they'll think until they watch the video...), win it or wad/wear it...

I might even offer a ride there and back for the brave lads...I'll be leaving Tulare in the motorhome, making a brief stop at the Kalahari Speedway in Phoenix, prior to stopping at the PAS...

Is it just me or didn't Tulare, PAS, THEN Manzanita make a little more sense? Whatever, too much coffee, too little sleep!

The only condition is that after your ride, no more BS (driver bashing) on the message board! It ain't as easy as it looks.

Oh, and you'll have to change your poopy drawers before I haul your butts home. Momma comes with once in a great while (son and I have been MIA since August 23rd and will not be home until Sunday) and she won't let me go out un-supervised if I bring the 40-footer home smelling like a diaper pail!

"As long as I can have a fast boat, a margarita
machine and can light my hair on fire, I'll be just
fine."
