Yeah! Wow! Um, uh the fact of the matter is,who cares. While Santos the III is talented,he is just another faceless pavement specialist that has just enough prettiness in him to fit the look NASCAR is looking for at the moment. I do wish him all the good fortune in the world, but in all likelihood he'll be swept away unless he produces results quickly. Bill Davis Racing is not exactly the marquee program as of late.

I didn't know there were people out there who are so ignorant when it comes to racers.
Bobby Santos III was one of the biggest outlaws in the country this season. He won in a ton of different cars, mainly because he'll drive anything at anytime, anywhere. "Just enough prettiness".....?? Santos is a hard-worker in a world of those who have more than he does. He EARNED a ride in the best pavement midget out there, and won in it. But he also won in his family's midget, from 16th. He won in his family's sprint car, too, and came from back in the field to do it.
Oh yeah, he also won a midget race at Stafford in August. After that, he took a challenge to start at the rear of the PRA Big Car field and passed Dave Steele(have you heard of him?) to win it and $50,000.
BDR finished 2nd in Truck points this year and is one of the key teams in the Toyota racing development. Santos is one of the most talented open-wheel racers to come along in quite some time, in my opinion, and there's no doubt that he'll be fine with BDR.
Maybe you need to go watch some different racing so you can inform yourself on the talented drivers across the board in this sport! Kirk

Spidge31 thank you for your information. I do not question Bobby Santos' talent, he has proved it,and the material you have provided as proof is quite worthy of a look. My statement brings to light that Santos III is just another in a long line of pavement specialists from USAC that has drawn interest of a NASCAR team, and its a bit of a risk now. NASCAR with the exception of drivers like Tony Stewart, who is the vested bad-boy,eats and spits up drivers with talent. In there place they have there pretty-boy figure heads who look good on camera and sell products. I wish Bobby all the best, but NASCAR is more show than go these days.
