Chuck Swenson won......I'm not sure of the finish order but I think Greg Bakker 11x was second, R19 possibly 3rd and the 5x was fourth. Don't know who was fifth but 1HD was sixth and Chad Meyer 7m was 7th. Those are no way official results....just from a phone call.

The X car has not been declared the winner yet. Some questions about the motor. Brian brown was 5th in the 27 car.

So was Swenson legal? Surely he wouldn't make that mistake again?

I just found this on jackson's website: In post race inspection, Chuck Swenson’s motor was found to be questionable. ASCS officials impounded Swenson’s motor and will be tearing the motor down Saturday morning.

I would love to hear more about this!

ps Not a Swenson hater, just curious.

Maybe Swenson's motor builder accidently screwed up again?

Maybe ASCS needs to do like the USMTS modified series has done. There was a driver in Louisiana who was being checked and when officials saw a black box (traction control), the driver quickly shut the hood and refused any further inspection. Consequently, the driver is barred for life from competing in any other USMTS event.

"...they took one from me last year, that will never happen again." Chuck from victory lane in the 2nd race of the season at Knoxville this year.

Cheatin' Chuck.... thats seems to be the reputation he has earned for himself in the last couple years....

This is really unfortunate for any driver, busted once and then refuse a tear down by officials will put some suspicion in the minds of the fans!

It makes me suspicious because if he wasn't cheating he probably would've let them tear it down. He was fast but got held up in traffic and 11x and r19 were right on his bumper. he was in jackson last week also and won the feature after he spun on lap 1 or 2 and came all the way from the back to win it by a lot. Drost was second and damn fast but not even close to as fast as Chuck. I wonder?

The car failed the go/no go gage check so there was no point in tearing the motor down. It was his option to tear the motor down to prove it was legal.
