What's everyone think of the new body they are advertising in the ad on the front page? All flat for more areo advantage?? I thought the scoop nose was the way to go? Still looks the same basically, I was just wondering what everyone either knew about the new style or what they thought of it.

I know Craig Dollansky tested the new body and car in Tucson at the end of the season

maybe faster air going into air box. the way the nose on last years chassis mite be low on flow because of the dished nose. the air would fly over the opening.

Dollansky ran J & J last year. Is he switching back to Maxim?

HA! Ok back on the real subject here I'd like to know who makes the hoods that Jonathan Allard and later Jesse Hockett used this year. The air box area on them is big as you can see in this photo.

That would be me...Matt & Glass Race Car Bodies. The hood was designed to work with the Kenny's Components airbox, it will match up directly to the airbox at the front edge of the scoop area, or you can run it with standard air filters just as well. Most of the drivers have commented that the lower nosepiece helps hold the front wheels on the ground giving them more feel and helps them manoeuvre (?sp) through traffic. You can see other pictures of it at www.raceglass.com

Thanks for the info. I always take note of things like that and see if others are utilizing them too.
