At Ventura on July 21, talked with 4 Aussie guys. From here they were going to sprint car Valhalla, Ohio, Indiana to see some races. They are also going to the Belleville nationals, Beaver Dam and to Knoxville nationals. One of the guys name was Gillin I believe, a driver of winged sprint cars. They enjoyed the wingless sprints at Ventura, as there are no wingless sprint cars in Australia. Too bad. I told them our catechism out here in Southern Cal "wings don't fly they suck". They got a kick out of that. Just kidding all you wing folks. Anyway if you happen to run into these guys give them a big Hoseheads welcome.
