How is the North Campgroung for Nationals. I will try it for the first time this year. Is there any thing I need to know or bring for my trip.

Thanks

It's pretty self contained Shatz, maybe a bike (not sure what the golf cart or 4-wheeler rules are)

Every year it gets more hard to have a Golf Cart for visitors. I semi live in Knoxville but Knoxville cops don't really go for fans riding around streets and side walks with none street legal 4 wheelers or Golf Carts. They normally let 4 wheelers for the teams kinda go, within reason.

We live here in Knoxville, and the rules for the 4-wheelers are pretty strict. I have seen crew members get tickets riding from the Pamida parking lot to the back gate of the track. So I wouldn't suggest that one. As far as the golf carts go, you can ride them on any side street as long as you have a flag and a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of it. You can only "cross" Highway 14, but not ride on it or on any sidewalks. Hope that answers your questions !!

Have a great time this year !! It should be a good one !!

I've stayed there for that past 4-5 yrs. It's a fun, clean place to be. Last year we had a motorhome, suv, and a Rhino (golf cart on steroids) to get around in. We see a lot of the same people their year after year and they're all very nice. We would keep the hauler right across the street from the campgrounds on the east side of the highway if you will have a car you need to work on.
