This may be a total shot in the dark, but so far, I can't find any useful information on this.
I have recently acquired an engine. The engine's back-story is that it was built by TRD on the 1ZZ platform for use in midget racing. TRD backed out of the project and had these engines to get rid of. Do you know of any way I could possibly track down information on the specs of this engine, such as what parts were installed, what the compression ratio is, which variation of the 1ZZ it is, etc...? The only identifying information I have is a serial number stamped on the engine block itself, and TRD says they have no way of looking anything up by the serial number alone.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to figure it out is to take apart the engine. Unless the 1ZZ platform is still running.
