What size/thread are the coolant fittings on a Hilborn manifold? Specifically, what fiitings do I need to order? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me of any other websites where you might actually get help with technical questions?

Do you not own a tape measure?

Theyre either AN-ORB fittings (straight thread) or NPT pipe threads. I forget which.

Just go look at your manifold and measure them!

Dan,

I have an old Hilborn, and mine is AN-8. It is the same thread as a -8 hose fitting. The chart in my Speedway catalog says that thread size is actually 3/4-16, same as a 3/4 fine thread bolt, which would be a good way to verify that's what you have. Speedway calls the fittings you need "high flow o-ring port fittings" Get the straight ones and put 90 degree ends on your hoses. The blue push-lock hose works fine for that.

Good luck,

John

Thank you jbracing, I made some phone calls and got the O-port fittings. Wileboar....there are many different thread styles that measure the same, but each is slightly different. Just looking for some help to make sure I got the right one the first time. Obviously you are not the type to give that help.
