I'm new to Southwest Oklahoma. What happened to the Faxon Speeway? It seems with all the complaining of Lawton Speedway, there would be another track to race in the area. I drove by there and it's nothing now. So I was just wondering.

I think if a person was to build a track, run it with Officials with some backbone, offer a great family oriented atmosphere (remove beer in the pits and grandstands), have some rules and stick to them, none of this "same car winning Mini's, FS, and Sprints" each week, OH and the big one, ALLOW THE 108 INCH WHEELBASE (talk about a car count then!!!!! in FS), we'd have a great racing facility and be bringing in the cars!!!!

I'd love to see Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks, Factory Stocks, Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and Sprints, start at 7, and the show can be ran by midnight!

It was open a few years ago, but the guy leasing it had a hard time keeping it going. I've heard they tore everything down...not sure about the future of the place though.

want to run 108 fs? come to brillmotorspeedway in meeker. check it out....you need to have your car set up ot run. there are some very fast cars that run at brill's..

We'll be there LOBO if we get the motor fixed and running.

I just hate it that Lawton is 15 minutes from my house! HAHAHAHA
