It was a wild race today with 22 year old rookie Lewis Hamilton taking the win in only his 6th start... Robert Kubica took about the worst ride I have ever seen, it can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbFDQwbcDo0

How tough are those carbonfibre tubs, he hit at some awesome speed and the area around his legs was completely protected.

That was one ugly wreck. I was concerned about him flopping around in the tub until they announced the extent of his injuries....it looked pretty violent

I dig F1 Pat... Went to Indy last year to watch them... freakin' amazing, especially when you walk over that bridge in the infield during the race. We got to ride some wicked fast go-karts somewhere in Indy...

I went last year and I'll be heading out at 4:00am Friday morning to see it again and about 8 races in 3 days!

For those who haven't seen F1 cars in action, is is like a winged sprinter on some MAJOR steroids!

Gas City was the original plan, however I think that we will see a better show at Bloomington Friday night since it is a KISS race. Plus we are hitting the USAC race at IRP on Saturday night.
