17 whopping late models when early, pre-season press releases from AMP almost sweared record breaking car counts. Just want Arkansas needed was another late model series (Show-Me, MARS, MSRS, SUPR). I hope it was a good show.

On the brighter side of the fence, I am glad to see West Slioam having a great car count in all classes (not great by SFS but for a small town weekly show it is good). Having "Baby" Bone and Jason Teague there in modifieds isn't too shabby either.

Thanks for the results.

There was really great racing in all our classes. The AMP series has had some good car counts.Since they are based in the middle of Arkansas. Some of the driver made a 6 hour haul.Of course looking at the Arkansas map. There usually isnt a easy way to get anywhere in the state. With the threat of bad weather and gas prices had a something to do with it also. For someone like myself that checks out racing everywhere. It was pretty cool to see Terry Henson on our end of the road.we had a young man from Broken Bow,OK. racing with with AMP.13 year old Gary Scott Christian in the 58X LM.The young man did a fine job against the veteran drivers. As for the car count.Maybe if WSS gets to be around s long as SFS.Plus have succesfull promoters over the years like Bud Carson and Lanny Edwards.Maybe WSS could end with a large car count. We have been over a 105 plus all year.Anytime David you roll into WSS.Come up to the announcer's booth. I wasn't dogging WSS and their car counts, I think they are great considering where they were two years ago and longer. I was dogging the late model series because their press releases act as if you will see thirty late models a show. Don't think they have had a car count above twenty yet.

Don't know when but I will make it up to that end of the country one of these days. When I do, I shall look you up.
