Kelly, It's been better, It was going good up until last Sat. night at Lawton , got hit in the RR by a another cars LF as we were attempting to pass underneath the guy and he came down on us and turned us to the right and into the concrete wall on the front stretch at speed and well it is not good , front end from Radiator foward bent over about 8" to the right,It's freakin amazing Kelly Ran Lawton 3 times have less than 15 cars on all 3 occassions and get run over once across the front end first night and bent a few items and then next week have no brakes Master Cyl. decided to take a shit pulled out in the Heat and our night was done, then last week I guess you could say we got Deluca sized by 3d Tony and bent the car,Ya know Kelly it something else, go to one place 3 times with less than 15 cars each time and get run over once and get escorted into the wall another and go to Ada for the OCRS show with 25 cars run 47 laps Heat , B, and the A Feature and never had any worries about getting run over, learned alot about the car that night and felt like we were making a little progress with it , but go to Lawton this past Sat. and well just a bad deal is all I will say ,currently taking it all apart and going to get it fixed and will return in the near future as soon as possible and will be coming to your end of the state and racing, as the other end has not been real kind to us , Like the way OCRS treated us at Ada and appreciate that and will be running with them in the future, not real sure if anything else , just have to see. But no more Lawton and dammit going to miss those Wayne's Drive In Cheese Burgers , Fries, and a big ol Jumbo 44oz. Ice Tea as it was a pretty much weekly deal when we would go down and run. How about the House of Horse Power in Bixby , Staying busy I would imagine.

I always knew those guys from the other side of the state couldn't drive, now I have confirmation!!

Man hate to hear about the bad luck JD.  You will have to let me know when you come over this way.

Got my lil 305 done and off the dyno about two weeks ago.  Went to Knoxville this past Friday to see it run and after two brief showers hit they decided to call it.  No biggie as I will be going back next Friday the 15th to try again.  We are the undercard to the WoO late models that night.......... woo hoo!

Ya know Kelly , there are some over there that are good shoes and you can race with and it is a lot of fun when ya can do that and Lawton is a grat facility , Although there are some that just don't get it, Ya know at Ada, was loose in the heat and got passed clean by 2 guys that waited until they seen the opening and got underneath us, we finished 5th and had to come out of the B to get into the A, like I said before , never was up tight about getting run over at Ada that night, I will say this Robert Sellers has Lawton figured out and will win a bunch more A mains down there , I believe he has 6 in a row now(won every night they have run a program) and hell he may break the single season record for most A main wins, gonna be mechanical or an incident for him not to win em on Sat. nights, He's got lot's of laps at the place and things are going his way right now, For us it is back to the drawing board and kind of literally start over, re build the car and take her back out and try it again down the road, Heck it was really our 2nd full night on the car or what was to be a full night but 1 lap into the heat and were done, load the bent racer up and go get a Wayne's Drive In Cheeseburger after the show,Kelly those Cheese Burgers are Tasty, Like I said before have ran 4 times and 3 nights ended in DNF's, that is NFR (No Fun Racing), Ya know we might get our butts handed to us running with the OCRS , Goodman , Passmore , Essary, Sherrell, Walker and the fast list goes on and we will find out just how much we are behind, but at least we can race and try to get the car better to the shoes liking and try to get laps WITHOUT having to worry so much about getting getting drove across , Hit Or slammed, or used as a banking effect from the fellow competitor loose car , Had a hell of a time at Ada , Grable and Sewell thanked us for coming more than once ,Coming from an owner of one of these money eatin machines, hell that was nice to feel appreciated for bringing it out, hell our goal was no DNF's that night at Ada and some 47 laps later , we did that plus made the A main, felt like we made headway on the car , Driver and car was feelin the love for each other towards the end of the A and the owner was feelin $225 in his pocket for 13th place, Ol J.D. likin that,LOL, I am not saying running with OCRS is all bullet proof from Crashes , they are gonna happen, it is part of the game, but I think the chances are better of finishing races loading her up in one piece, were at the Threshold of Hell right now 3 trips to Lawton 3 DNF's and bent iron on the last trip, Right now just want to get er back together and finish some A Mains , JUST FINISH and then we will go from there , I will give you a jingle when we get it back together and are going to head up that way to run, maybe you can tell us of a good Burger Joint or Mexican food to eat up that way, Maybe in your busy schedule you might make it to an OCRS show and give us some insight on the world of Sprint Car Racing , That Mexican food can make for an interesting trip home for Me and James (Crew Chief), Burrito's and Sauce can be some lethal stuff. LOL, Hope the 305 motor program does well as I am sure it will, Good Luck at Knoxville with it , be looking for the press release of the Wesmar dominating 305's at Knoxville.

You won't see a press release from Wesmar because it isn't a Wesmar. It's my own creation that I worked on after work, on my lunch hour, and on a weekend or two. It's called Big Cock Power!!

doubt you could put Cody Whitworth in a modified........I'm sure he could drive the hell out of it........but his ol' man would steal it within a few hours. Come heat race time to get out on the track.....look over.."where's the car?"..........look up and see no other than the Tuttle Tornado Mr. Mike Whitworth out slingin some mud. tuttle tornado......that name oughtta stick to him like a tick on a mule. This weekend......all Hoosiers and Buckeyes beware.......the "Tuttle Tornado" will be roaring to a town near you!

Kelly W. what r u talkin bout with the 305? are you driving it or just building the motor?

JD as well as you know me and how fond I am of cheeseburgers and greasy fries I am personally insulted that you never told me about that Wayne's Drive-In you were talkin about. If ya'll indeed go to Lawton next sat. for the ASCS show everybody should meet up there.

BRING LOTS OF PEPTO, TUMS etc. Oh, and if you see a guy with paint on his face riding a bicycle, don't give him any fries!

OKCFan, the 305 is my personal engine.  I put it in a customers car.  They run the 305's primarily in Iowa and some in Missouri.

Bobcat ,I appreciate the offer but stick to Sprint Cars, Carl Burdett when at SMS tried to get me to get a Mod for several years but did not happen, hey they look fun, but to many years in the sprints now to make a change, As for running out of places to run , Creek ,OCRS shows, MAS if they still continue to run wingless and BMS, went to Lawton again this last Sat. to sell some RR Hoosiers and sat in the stands , same ol stuff and in all the classes , first time I got to watch all the classes run and running through and over and slammin is at a premium , like the post on the Lawton Demo Derby states, "Demo Derby", Watched the Mods and Sprints A mains only and left but the 2 were enough for me to see stuff tore up. The 3D sprinter is going to get someone hurt , besides destroying more equipment and I will leave it at that.

Cheese the Sweet ride only happens on Wed.

Kelly, Is this the first 305 you all have done?

Cheese, I am leaving Thursday morning to go to Eldon, Ia. We are running my 305 there Thursday night. Then I'm heading to Knoxville to race my 305 again Friday night.

Good luck though
