It was a good night of racing and it was a good car count. It was nice to see all the E Mods... they always seem to be pretty competitive. One of these days I'm gonna ask the Goltrys how they get that double-decker car trailer to work lol! Tillison, Jr. gave Johnny a run in Factories too, but Johnnys smooth driving and a hooked up car won out, but man that was a good race.

And announcer, good job (when we can hear ya over the engines lol). "They're lining up as the moon rises over turn 2..." was perfect lol. Don't let SFS steal ya! It was a great night for the fans too. Again, good job Mark!

Thanks for the compliment ! (I think) LOL While I would LOVE working at a bigger facility, with a bigger crowd, and high tech equipment (no offense Mark) I don't know that I want to work for Lanny, and I may not be ready for "the big time" yet. Plus I'd really hate to wipe my voice out Friday night, and then have nothing left for the "home" crowd. I really love waht I do, and I'm glad someone else enjoys it. Thanks for coming out, and please keep coming. Mark has some big plans for the future and I can't wait to see the result.

the sad thing about meeker is it will always just be meeker....I applaud mark brill and his crew for all the improvements he and they have made....the track was heavy and fast but almost just one grove about a groove and a half that is just my opinion......dusty

Thanks, Matt, it was fun.

I was worried about "eating crow". Watching from the stands was fun, but racing was much better

Not sure if or when Sheldon will come back out...time will tell

See you Sat.

I was actually hoping for a yellow late in the Factory stock A Feature, would have liked to see if Tilly or Dustin had anything for Johnny Reed, Jr.. I have NOTHING against Johnny, but LOVE a good CLOSE competitive race. Hey Danny, maybe we could add a 50 lb. handicap weight to the car, or better yet make him run the feature with your skinny butt in the passenger seat, that'd add at least 50 lbs. LOL.

that would add 170 lbs more, you need to get your skinny azz in, and if a yellow he would have still pulled away nothing against those guy's but he would only drive it harder, it was a good race, glad they showed up and was more cars in the feature made for better racing...

Meeker may just be meeker, but I enjoy it all the time I go. Much more than racing at the city. If I didn't have so many commitments to run the city, I would quit there and race full time at Meeker. Less stress and dont have to worry and my car getting ran into all the time.

Yep you are correct Deke, usually alot of great clean racing and alot less cars tore up, I have been to SFS this year and look at cars coming off the track in the races and they do tear some stuff up, sad but true, don't get me wrong from time to time there is a wreck or 2 at Brill and some get something tore up a little, but watching the Mods at SFS everytime after the Mod A I see alot of tore up cars, glad you do come down and race with us Deke cause you are always clean and good to race with ya, but to clarify things a little more all tracks do have thier mishaps and always will, not just SFS or Brill, but all tracks across the country, you will always have a small amount of drivers that will do whatever they have to do to try to get to the front even if that means to run over half the field in the process, anyone knows what I mean if you have been around racing for a lifetime, Mark & crew are doing a great job on the track & facility and it will only get better in time, so thank's to all the regulars and to those who show up from time to time, atleast racers are doing thier part to help the effort even with high fuel prices, it hurts all of us, and not sure how many heard Mark in the Driver's meeting of wanting to up the pay, but i can say when he does say something he means it and he has not let us down yet, so hats off to Mark, he even paid all the purses he said he would last year even when car counts did not have a full 20 car field, so that goes along way in my book. cya's this weekend...

well the only thing that would work is more money. And its hard to pay more till more cars get there so its kind of a double edge sword. its gonna cut you both ways.

Maybe I can ride along during hot laps next week!!! I know you're right about the yell ow not making a difference, but you know what I meant, too. Close competitive racing is better. I know that I speak for Mark and the gang when I say we appreciate EVERYONe who tries to make BMS a stop on their racing calendar. W'ere gonna keep doing what we're doing, and hopefully the car count will continue to improve. Look at the difference in car counts in the sprint class alone, last year we had several nights with less than 10 sprints on hand, so far this year the sprint car count is WAY up. We've nearly doubled the number of e-mods since the beginning of the year, too. I'm not sure what Dusty meant about it "always being just Meeker", I believe we've made a HUGE difference, not only in the physical appearance of the track, but also we've begun to change some of the precocieved notions that people had about the track. Sure it's not gonna be SFS in the next 5 years, but in the same amount of time there may be NO SFS. I'm not saying we don't have lots of things we can improve on, just give Mark and company the time, and I think we'll eventually have one of the top racing facilities in the state out there. It's a good location, still rural enough to not have to worry about suburbia forcing any curfews or noise abatement laws, yet still reasonably close to the Metro. And as we're all aware, the Metro spreads a little more everyday.

Well I can say one thing Larry you might want to bring your depends...cause you will see... Yes I know what you meant, closer racing is good but I know him and i can predict what he is going to do most of the time, and if he gets a little mad then look out cause he will run the car to the floor and get everything out of it, and win with a big lead, cya Saturday...

I didn't think you meant it rude, Dusty, and like I said, it may NEVER be as big or as fancy as SFS, but it's home.

Danny, that must be some wild ride from the passsenger seat. And you know IF I ever got in the car Johnny'd do a Wally's World on me and see just how CLOSE to the walls he could get. I'd need two layers of Depends. I guarantee people were flipping out when you two came out for hotlaps. You shoulda heard the radio traffic. LOL. Fans were looking real hard, too. At first I think they thought they were imagining it!!!

I bet so, and I seen the Flagman not wanting to throw the green and Mark said he was having some fun talking to him via radio, the ride is very fun from the passenger side, I am used to it being a driver, but the passenger side is fun, we did the enduro race @ Clinton Johnny drove and I was the co-pilot talk about very fun stuff as there was 87 cars started the race and we had the 83rd starting spot, it took us 10 laps to get to 3rd, it was a very dry & dusty track you could not see anything, but a good navigator is a plus for a good driver, as we came down the front stretch at lap 19 and thru the dust at the last second appeared a 22 car pile up, that we missed due to good driving and navigating, it was a blast, wait till you get a ride you will really respect that car for all it is worth trust me, and it will wake you up, so be ready and you can get a ride, if ya want.

I may just take you up on that. The worst part for me would be the lack of control. I have issues just being the passenger in a street car, not that I don't have every confidence in Johnny's driving ability, there's just something about not being the one behind the wheel!!! See you guys Saturday!!!
