Just saw late breaking news on News9 where they called lifeflight after a bad crash in what looked to be the mini-late model trophy dash. Who was it and I do hope and pray they are okay.

Please let us know if they or the family need anything.

It also had his feet caught up. Pretty ugly deal. Hopefully he will be ok.

It was a bad deal. He ran head-on into where the cars exit the track, right into the fence post. We went and looked at the car after they loaded it on the trailer, and the LF was pushed into the drivers area. Hopefully the guy makes it out of this ok and eventually gets back in a car.

Also Clyde needs to do something about that area of the fence. The hole is really dangerous, and a swinging gate would be an easy fix. I have a lot of friends that race out there, and I really don't want to lose any of them due to negligence on the tracks part in knowing that the area is dangerous, and that it could be fixed. Just think if a little boy or girl running a Jr. sprint or restrictor hit that area like Mr. Trueblood.

It really bothered me when the News 9 van pulled in because everyone knows that they don't care about dirt track racing until a tragedy like this happens, then they're there before they even get him out of the car. They should just stick to the stories about mistreated animals.

On a good note, David "Hotdog" Jones ran pretty good tonight.

If you guys would have put that hotdog on the car during that red, I might have been able to stay focused and not have brain fade and won the deal. Actually for the first time in that car I felt pretty good with 6th. Wish I could have won, but there is always next week.

Maybe Somebody needs to look At these mini late models and to see if they are safe anybody done that? or did they just buy them because they were cool. I think the class is cool but nobody is going to buy a lot of them. glad to see the guy not though.

The cars are very safe. Had it been any of the 600cc cars or even a kid sprint the cars wouldn't have held up to a hit that hard. I really hope this doesn't hurt this class. I think if they get a few more cars this class will really be a good deal.

Pretty close. I think a couple of more weeks and we'll be right there.

Actually he called to get me to fix the fence where the guy tore it up.
