PORT-A-COOL® TO SERVE AS TITLE SPONSOR OF U.S. NATIONAL DIRT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 4, 2011) - Port-A-Cool® and Texas Motor Speedway have agreed to terms for the international portable cooling unit company to serve as title sponsor for the upcoming U.S. National Dirt Track Championship at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

Port-A-Cool Logo

The Port-A-Cool® U.S. National Dirt Track Championship will be held Sept. 15-17 with hundreds of competitors vying for prestigious championships in the Modified, Limited Modified and SUPR Late Model divisions. Port-A-Cool®, new to the Texas Motor Speedway sponsorship family, signed a one-year agreement and no financial terms of the deal were disclosed.

"Port-A-Cool® is extremely pleased to be part of Texas Motor Speedway's family of sponsors and this world-class motorsports venue is an ideal fit for us," Port-A-Cool® Vice President of U.S. Sales Jeff Lloyd said. "Our units are extremely successful in areas that are not conducive to air conditioning such as garages and work shops so we are catering to our audience. We had a couple of displays set up at Texas Motor Speedway during their IndyCar Series weekend in June and we had a very high interest level in our products from many of the teams and individuals as well. We think that Port-A-Cool® units could also be very beneficial to these types of racers that work out of their own home garages or have small shops where air conditioning may be impractical."

Port-A-Cool® units are portable, evaporative cooling units offering versatile options for effective cooling where air-conditioning is unavailable, impractical or cost prohibitive. Port-A-Cool® units require only tap water and 115v of electricity and perform at a fraction of the cost of air conditioning. They deliver air flow up to 30 degrees F. cooler than surrounding air. Port-A-Cool® units are available in four fan-blade sizes, plus two centrifugal fan models that disburse cooled air over areas up to 4,000 square feet.

The Port-A-Cool® headquarters is located near the Texas/Louisiana border in Center, Texas. For more information on Port-A-Cool® for both commercial and residential use, visit www.port-a-cool.com.

On-track action for the Port-A-Cool® U.S. National Dirt Track Championship will begin Thursday, Sept. 15, with practice for all three divisions beginning at 6 p.m. CT. The practice session will be closed to the public.

Heats for all three classes will run Friday, Sept. 16, and the championships will be decided Saturday, Sept. 17. Racing will begin at 6 p.m. CT both nights. Grandstand tickets will be $10 on Friday and $15 on Saturday. Parking on both nights is free. Fans and competitors can visit www.texasmotorspeedway.com for additional information on the event.
