Donny and Joey are tied for the WoO point lead...when was the last time you saw that in mid-may...it's going to be a barn burner right to the end I think...which is exciting!

And I STILL say don't count out Kinser. He does his best work as the weather heats up.

Actually, I don't ever remember seing Donny and Joey being tied for the WoO lead in mid May before this year....OK, just being sarcastic, NOSAPRIDE!!!! ( speaking of exciting, Bobby M. put on one heck of a challenge in the closing laps last Fri. at RCS, dont ya think? ) The opener was a lot closer at the end, but overall, the first two races this year have been some of the best I've seen in quite awhile!!!!

Don't count out Jason Meyers either. I think it's been a while since he finished outside of the top ten.

Isn't there a bunch of guys along with The Champ that have used up 2 Provisional Starts already:
Tony Bruce Jr., Jeremy Campbell, Sam Hafertepe Jr., Dion Hindi, Chad Kemenah, Jason Martin, Terry McCarl, Tim Shaffer, Jason Sides, Brooke Tatnell...

Provisionals used are as follows:
0 Used: Meyers, Kinser, Solwold, Kaeding (do not believe he has any since he left the Kinser 11K), Madsen, Hillier, Chappell
1 Used: Saldana, Lasoski, McMahan, Carlson
2 Used: Schatz, Pittman, Dollansky, McCarl, Haudenschild, Shaffer, Sides, Hannagan, Henderson, Kemenah, Hafertepe, Bruce, Campbell, Tatnell, Hindi, Martin

Racinrebel - you are correct. Bobby looked good!
I thought the WoO guys got more provisionals on June 1st? That could really hurt Donny in the points battle if he misses an A main! I think they still get 75 points even if they don't make the show, but that will hurt.

Call me crazy but I think Jason Meyers will beat Kinser in the standings this year.
WFOB_0: I think Solwold has made every A-main this year without the use of a provisional. I know Steve and TK have missed a least two and I think Meyers did not make one of the races at Volusia in Feb.

In fact, Jason has made every A-main this year with one exception through the heat races.
Knoxville is the one exception. He had to run the B-main there to get into the A.
He has yet to use a provisional

From the 2007 WoO Rule Book -
Provisionals
7b) All 2007 WoO Platinum Member Teams that finished in the 2006 top twenty pointswill start the season with 2 provisional’s. Other 2007 Platinum Members will earn 2 provisional’s after the 5th race night of 2007. On July 1, 2007, both groups will have earned an additional 2 provisional’s provided they have raced 100% of the schedule to date. The most any team can accumulate for the 2007 season is 4.

I could be wrong, but I believe Tony Bruce Jr. has only used 1 provisional so far.

Rogue-
Tony Bruce Jr. burned his (2) Provisional Starts on March 3rd at Manzanita and April 20th at Attica.
Heats should be getting nasty with action as the myriad of guys without the "Free Pass" gets bigger.
Hope for some good B Feature racing for one of the coveted 4 spots as well.
