MARKETING, MARKETING , MARKETING! The nameWorld Racing Group has more appeal to more racing fans around the world than Dirt Motorsports does. They're trying to attract more diverse racing fans, not just sprint car diehards. Of course with that, there is always the good and bad side. The good side: More exposure to more people who don't know what sprint car racing is, therefore making a bigger and stronger fanbase. The bad side: Bigger crowds, bigger ticket prices, and bigger headaches all the way around for the diehards.(longer concession, restroom, and traffic lines, and tighter seating!(just look at NAPCAR)
SUPPORT WILDLIFE, go to a sprint car race!

Well, since they said that they were looking at running sprint races in China, what better way to reflect on your business plan?

excuse me for venting. i hear people wanting our sport to be able to support first class teams and to have exposer and to continue to have competition and new blood come into the sport. then i hear people bag on any attempt to do that. be it the right way of going about it or not. i think all the pencil necks that can;t roll with the changes should just step down and let the wagon rumble by. but they just can't seem to do it they have to hang around and take pot shots at whatever they can find to. to all you weak minds i hope that this sport plays to crowds like the cup series does in bristol. i hope the names of this sport are on the lips of people from coast to coast. and i hope all the races are on network tv so you dimwits can stay home and watch them and leave more room at the track for the rest of us.
bring it on

Ya get um TWO vent away. It is amazing people call them selves sprint car fans and B and complaine about anything they can. Be glad somebody is putting up the money it takes for sprint car racing to keep going. DIRTVISION is a great tool. Im sure the ones that complain are not putting money into a race car or a series.
Lets not get stuck on STUPID

BigRightRear: Why do you always post negative posts unless it is about your PA Posse? I admit that Posse drivers are good, but if they dominate at local tracks why don't they run with the WoO on a weekly basis and try their luck at tracks all over the U.S.? I know when our California drivers start dominating at our local tracks they make the move up to the WoO (NST last year) and they have been doing pretty well. Just my two cents :)
P.S. - I'm going to PA for the first time in a month and planning on going to Learnerville because it is only 30 minutes from Pittsburg. I know that Williams Grove is 3 hours away also. Why isn't Learnerville considered a Posse track, but Williams Grove is? I know you are an expert on the whole PA sprint car scene so any info would be helpful.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Kelly, no disrespect to you, but your question about Lernerville not being a Posse track was answered when you asked the other day. Lernerville is not a Posse track because it is not in central Pennsylvania. Look at the Lernerville field. Do you see any of the guys normally considered to be Posse racing there on a weekly basis?
The central PA Posse tracks are generally considered to be Williams Grove, Lincoln, Port Royal, Selinsgrove and Susquehanna. All five of those tracks are located within two hours of one another.

I'm getting confused on what is/isn't Posse. The track has to be a stones throw away from another in central PA to be considered Posse, but any driver from North America that has ran at said tracks on any kind of a "regular" basis is Posse.....that seems skewed. LOL!!! Just kidding, don't torch me here....I believe that PA has the toughest weekly deal going, but couldn't resist to finally chime in.

the simple answer is anything the pa people can use to make them look better is posse.
and anything that they can ditch in a heartbeat that makes them look bad is not.
the problem is they can't ditch their whole darn state lol. jk pa guys. good luck you'll need it !

are you guys NOW trying to say that the SEC report is negative? how could slow learners ever come to this conclusion?

Diversion, a true tactic from a big-time Bush supporter, that's all you need to know about the mentality of BRR, lol. A spanking of the full Posse field by the All-Stars and a best Posse finish of 18th at Lernerville, it's been a very tough week for the Cheerleaders and it might get worse. You better hope the pill-draw goes your way, you're gonna need it. Take It Easy....

full field racing is tonight...on POSSE soil.
traditionally the field is split nearly 50/50 with 2 outlaws begging provisionals...draw pills all you want, but the local heat races this year have been very competitive.

Wow - this thread sure got off topic and turned into yet another urination contest....
Back on topic of the OP -- as stated -- World Racing Group sounds much better in a Corporate board room than Dirt Motorsports. (hopefully they will stick with this one for awhile :) )
