The Velocity Motorsports, C.V. Fabricators, MACLAC, Stud Welding Products, Nor-Cal Performance, Pacific Bolt, MTL number 7 has had its up and downs so far this year. In there first race ever young Myles Bishop won the opener at Hanford.. Then the Next time out having motor problems would hold them back tell april 21st where Myles was 5th quick and in the dash bad luck struck again with the steering box failing while runing 4th. Then contact in the A-main would send the team home. The next time they came out was last weekend were right out of the box the team was fast with second quick. Missed the dash cause of the left side nerf rubbing on the LR in the heat. In the A-main Myles started 13th with the car set up by new hire Matt Durica and dad Steve Bishop, Myles was able to climb to 6th in six laps passing cars on the top, middle, and bottom. Then on lap six bad luck struck once more with the left rear rotor exploding and spinning out in turn one. On the restart Myles was 16th when the green flag came out Myles powered his C.V. Fabricators, MACLAC, Stud Welding Products, NOR-CAL performance, Pacific Bolt, MTL number 7 back though the pack all the way to 8th. When on lap 20 a yellow came out and the temp on the car was at 250 so Myles woried pulled off the track to the work area. With the crew of Matt, Kory, Kent, Dezy, and Steve pulled the hood the poor water on the radiator to cool the motor down. But it did not work. So now on to this weekend With the car ready to go and driver ready to, the team hopes to come past its bad luck and finish good.
