“SUMAR CLASSIC” CANCELED
United States Auto Club and Terre Haute Action Track officials regret to announce that the June 2 “Sumar Classic” at the 1/2-mile Indiana oval has been canceled for 2007.
No replacement date for the K & N Engineering Silver Crown event has yet been announced.
The series resumes this Saturday as part of the “Casey’s General Stores USAC Triple Crown” program at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. A 100-lap Silver Crown race is on tap, in addition to a 25-lap Sprint and 25-lap Midget race.
The Terre Haute Action Track will play host to the 37th running of the “Tony Hulman Classic” Lucas Oil USAC National Sprint Car race on Saturday night, May 19.
