Congrats. Perry wish I could have been there instead of working. I am planning on making the show this coming weekend. Come by and see me. So we can finally meet.

How was the track?

Thanks Billy

I will stop by and see you Saturday

The track was good and tacky all night like last week. pretty smooth one hole in 2 and one in bottom of 4 but pretty good for the most part.

I would like to thank Mark and crew for all the work they put in to the track gets better every week.

Billy it was great seeing you back at Meeker. We remember when you ran pro-stocks there. ( I'm assuming you are the same Billy Goodnight). This year I have seen a lot of drivers from that time period, and would love to see everyone back again. Tracks VERY different and I think we (they) do a pretty decent job. I know several guys have hung up there driving shoes, but still great seeing old competitors and friends.

Hey Oldred 420, Perry is right I am his son. I havn't been racing all that much. Just picked up where he left off a couple of years ago. I actually ran his old Pro Stock at Ada for a couple of years and decided to get into a Modified where I wouldn't be so limited to where I could run. I don't get to run every week but I am trying to get as much seat time to carry on the name. Maybe someday I can be a contender like my old man was week in and week out. The car is really good and I do have good equipment I just need more seat time to run with the big boys. I really like Meeker. What Mark is trying to do is great for the sport. The track will get better and I hope people stay patient. It was extremely rough last time I was there and pretty much made it a one groove track on the bottom, but it will get better. I just hope we don't get rained out this weekend. And with all the rain we should get this week, hope the track stays as good as every one has stated it was last week.

Come by and see us anytime. Dad doesn't to go everytime but he makes as many as he can. Just don't think he has it in him like he use too.

I always could use some help or advise if anyone is interested.

Advise!! I remember about 2 years ago at Ada,2nd year in a mod, me and this guy was racing pretty hard, for about last place I think :), we ran side by side swapping spots for the last 10 laps, when I came off the track dad said " you have fun?" and I said " I guess, but I racing for about last place". Well I got this look from dad and he said "If ya had fun racing that guy than quit bitchin about running in the back, Im sure he had a blast racing with you"

Point of my story, Dads always seem to know more,or thats the way it is in my case, and just have fun racing, modifieds are fun to race, they can be such a challange that just running by your self is fun,and then with a pack is great, rather at the front or the back, but the front is alittle funner!! :)

You are so right. I have plenty of experience's just like you stated. I run everyone as clean as I can. I know I am new to class and treat everyone with respect. And in turn for the most part everyone has given me the same. Everyone wants to win, and I for sure would like to get my first win over so I can stop worrying about not making any progress.

Thanks for the advise - it is so true.

Good luck to all.
