I heard that the pit passes will cost a whopping 25.00$. And to get in the stands is 10.00$. Hope to see everyone there to support the new refurbished track.

Since it is suppose to rain all day tomorrow, and I dont think Ventura will get Sat in, I am considering racing at Victorville Sat. Before I decide, I want to know what kind of format the will they be having? and what is the purse to win? and also to start the main event. Does anyone know what kind of car count they are expecting? If anyone knows, please post it so I can make an educated descion on going,or not. Thanks.

Dennis,
I understand that the purse is to be the same as VRA, so,... $1,000 to win and $100 to start
I dont know about the format but it will be 410's and 360's with NO tire rule

I talked with a local Victorville team and they stated that it will be $1000 to win, with a pill pick format.
The only exception being that if an experienced team/driver (for example Rip Williams) showed up, he would have to start at the back of the heats. That way, they could put on a show for the fans.
There is no tire rule and only a California Fairgrounds 95db at 100ft muffler rule.

I talked to Mike today, & he's been watering the track. We don't get the rains from the Valley much. We just had a few sprinkles. I ran on the track @ practice, it's pretty nice. Smooth, banked clay, wwwide turns will provide several lines I think. Only $10.00 for adults. Where else can you get that? It's right off the freeway @ The Fairgrounds. Come on out & give it a chance, but bring blankets/jackets. You know the drill. Racing starts @ 6:00.
Come by afterwards & say HI
