Whats the issues between Susquehanna and the rest of the Central PA tracks. I don't know a whole heck of a lot about what goes on up there other than the obvious, and their promoter just backed out of an interview with SprintCarDaily..............so the only way I'll know is to ask here. So whats the trouble?

WOW! Is THAT what the hell that is up there off the Newberrytown exit of I83!?!?!?!? I thought it was just some place where independent laboritories test-run school busses and minivans!

Next year's 17th annual Cindy Rowe Auto Glass Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week is set.

Speed Week will include eight races in nine days, beginning with the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial Race at the Lincoln Speedway, near Hanover, on June 30. It will pay $10,000 to the winner.

Bedford Speedway (July 1), Grandview Speedway (July 3), Hagerstown Speedway (July 4), Port Royal Speedway (July 5), Williams Grove (July 6), Port Royal Speedway (July 7) and Selinsgrove Speedway (July 8) fill the busy Speed Week schedule.

All races pay $5,000 except for Williams Grove ($10,000 to win) and Port Royal (July 7/$7,000 to win).

Noticeably missing is Susquehanna Speedway Park.

The decision was a consensus among the Speed Week tracks to not include SSP.

SSP co-promoter Todd Fisher refused comment.

The area will have a similar Speed Week format in May. Called the Keystone Cup Sprint Series, races begin on May 23 and continues through May 28.

It kicks off at Grandview and continues to Big Diamond, Williams Grove, Lincoln, Selinsgrove and Port Royal.
