Any of those watching the footage on channel 9 (CBS) see one of those destroyed houses that looked like it had a race hauler mixed in the debris? Also in the same footage there was a large property that had a shop on it that housed a VERY nice vintage red Camaro? I think it was a camaro................just seeing it all by itself with the building destroyed and debris all over it...........I can feel that fellas pain from here.
Had this of happened 1 or 2 miles East or West of where it did this would be a whole lot worse.

I think they said the trailer belonged to an excavating company. Yeah a little east and I could have been in the middle of it. Kinda got scared when they kept saying Wiley Post airport. Our baby sitter lives right by there and there wasn't any warning. It touched down about 1/2 mile from my in-laws and they had no power so they didn't even know it was happening.

a lot of the people that got hit on the turnpike said they couldn't see it until it was right on top of them because of the rain. I imagine thats the worst kind of tornado.......the ones wrapped in rain that you can't see.
As for that trailer...........I sure hope it wasn't a racer.........also hope whoever it was has good insurance for everything that was damaged or destroyed. Those insurance companies can be dirty.
If the weather forecasters are right........tomorrow may be more of the same stuff we had today.

That storm brings up a good question ... does anyone know if race equipment would be covered by insurance if it was destroyed by a tornado or other disaster. If so, what insurance company?

Question From California....
Does your insurance cover tornados at all?? Out here you have to buy special insurance to cover Earthquakes and it pretty pricey, it also will only cover 80% you must come up with the 20% first...

dirty bastards. I bet they would have enough of their clients money to cover their damages in the event of an earthquake. dirty bastards.
To answer your question I think it's the same deal here. I know a lot of people lost everything and didn't get much back, but others ......better yet the people who could afford that kind of insurance.........got brand new everything.
Those people in New Orleans are probably experts on this deal by now, especially considering is was mostly the failures of man made things such as levies and dams that destroyed their property. But insurance companies still claimed those man made failures as "acts of god"
Dirty bastards.
