I realize his efforts ended in futility when the second tire shredded, but it was well worth the $20 just to watch Jason Johnson try to make it to the front of the A Saturday night. I realize he has great equipment, but the guy stands on it, races hard and, from what I can see in the cheap seats, is pretty clean.

Same was true of Gary Wright on Friday night. You figured someone was going to have to go high Saturday night and Gary did it.

Thought the ASCS car counts were great and heard from Randy Ward that there might have been several more had the weather predictions been more accurate.

Yeah Kenny, we had a few of our customers from up north wanting to come down but the weather was looking shakey

With gas prices being what they are, I understand. Could you shoot me an email? [email protected]

Yeah. Jason Johnson put on a good show. I always enjoy watching him run. However, I thought it was kinda poor sportsmanship for him to stop on the track in his heat when he went into turns 3 and 4 too hard and went over the edge. I understand the situation he was in but it just didn't come across as very sportsman like to me.

Probably wasn't the most sportsmanlike thing in the world, but speaking strictly from the perspective of a paying fan, if I go to an ASCS race and he's there, I want to see him run.

A great weekend of racing and well worth the trip from Nebraska for me. There would have been 3-4 Nebraska cars there if not for the weather forecast.

Jason Johnson is a gasser but he had a lot of bad luck both nights.

Would like to give big thanks to SRC, Lonnie and the ASCS, Bob, Scott, Angie and Blake for a great time!

Obviously, everyone who posted here recognizes talent when they see it! ;-)

For those of you in range of the Shreveport-Minden, Louisiana area, you have a chance this Saturday to see him run an ASCS Gulf South event at the Josh Lofton Memorial Race at Champion Park Speedway.
