LenMar Motorsports Connects A Straight Line To Lang14.com For ’09 Season
Mansfield Texas (3/3/09) DarinShort.com. Dispelling the notion that ‘straight lines’ and ‘ovals’ do not intersect; famed drag racers, engine builders and chassis tuner LenMar Motorsports has teamed up with Lang14.com and their ASCS/Cowtown sprint car team for the 2009 racing season.
Lang14.com driver Michael “Spike” Lang commented: “We are very excited to have LenMar come on board with our team for 2009. Our whole team was very impressed with their motorsports complex and the engine shop is fantastic. We have known their engine builder Gary Willyford for a number of years and know we are getting outstanding craftsmanship & quality.”
LenMar Motorsports is owned by Gaylen Smith and Mark Eddins. When asked why they have formed this new powerhouse combination with the Lang14.com team, they responded: “LenMar Motorsports has partnered with up and coming driver, Michael Lang, for the 2009 ASCS season in hopes of expanding our current ASCS engine program — and who better to do this with than the 2008 Cowtown Speedway/DarinShort.com Rookie of the Year, Michael Lang. Not only was Michael the Rookie of the Year, but he was a major contender for the points championship in that rookie season.”
