Okay, guys and gals. Lincoln-will they run this Saturday? Any snow on the ground there? Any signs of a saturated track?

No snow on the ground, it is not really saturated either. A few showers in the offing on Friday, otherwise dry throughout the week. As of now the forecast is for 27 degrees on Friday evening, partly sunny and a high of 43 on Saturday.......we"ll see. Here in the East the weather professionals are correct with their forecast about as often as they are incorrect.;)

I don't see how the track will be ready with the sub freezing temps every night, but they'll probably run and then we'll probably bitch about how lousy the track was.
I can't wait.

I don't care. Anything running will be better than watching T.V. Thanks to all for the info.

Unless the rain is bad on Friday, I expect they will run. Lincoln pushes harder to get a show in more than any other track I know of. I've sat in below freezing temps and been there as late as 2:45am watching races, so if anyone will run, it will be them.

Looks almost ideal for a daytime race. Temps in the mid 50s today with 1/4" of rain, dipping down to right around freezing tonight, sunshine in the morning to clear things out, cloudy in the afternoon so the track won't have sun beating down on it come race time. Can't ask for more in February

The track surface will be fine. HOWEVER,............ does anyone know how much the tow truck/wrecker operators will be charging this year, to pull patrons vehicles out of the mud bog (parking lot)? Will "they" be taking AAA or strictly cash? My guess, strictly cash! E-Mods.
