Hide the women and children, I'm headed to Cali with Netters next weekend.
A couple of guys from my golf board and I are playing at Riverbend in Madera on Saturday.

Anybody interested?

I was leaning towards saying yes until I saw the dress code.

That's 1976 U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate to you Sir.
I've upgraded.
A couple of years ago the neighbor across the street passed away. The family gave me his clubs. A nice set of Hiro Honma LB280 irons.

Are these the gold leaf ones, or the more pedestrian set that sells for about 1,000 bucks US IF you can find them?
Nice find that....
Hopefully your using them more than once or twice a decade...

Explain gold leaf Nobby. There's a gold circle with some design on them, can't make out what it is. Also says New LB280.
I've played once in the two years I've had them.

ROFL, that's a great reference.
Wondered what I was going to do tonight, and another viewing of Judge Smails couldn't hurt...
Mike, I've seen a set of Hiro's where the paintfill area (back) was actual 14k gold leaf, that set of irons goes for about 3500 bones.
