Talk about having the ability to put the wing in the trunk...WOW!

Did you see the photos of the R19 car in Hoseheads Live?

The second set of top wing spuds are way back on the halo and there are supports welded to the back of the cage that will take the old clamp style wing hardware. I think Haud will be able to look up and see daylight with that setup.

Where can I find the pics? I'm new here and still getting the layout of things. Great site though, it's very nice to have such a sprawling community to discuss the REAL issues of the day with!

i like haud as much or more than anyone but haud needs to figure out how to get out of the trunk... of the field. good luck to him and the R19 team this season.

Seems like he always has mediocre performances at Volusia in the Winter Nats'. O well, he's with an awesome team and I think they will hit their stride sooner rather than later this year.

That team/combination found their stride late last year, they will find it again soon. My guess is by the time they leave Cali.......

after looking at the pic of the left side of the car, i dont think thats what them doo-dads are there for. i dont see another spot to mount the hydraulic slider...theres not enough throw in it to reach back that far if you mounted the rear there. You only have so much slot in the wing also!!??? That just looks stupid to me. besides if they cant get their car hooked up with what everyone else has, maybe they should look for another crew chief if they got the wing back that far, lol

do it in the dirt

That is what they are for. There is another tab on the left side for the front of the wing ram.

Those are just there to distract you from the really trick stuff they have elsewhere on the car.

Kinda like Sammy's Box fuel cell at the bowl.

so.. is donny schatz hooking his car up with what everyone else has? is ricky warner tuning donny to the success he is having by doing the same thing everyone else did? if haud has a great run with his top wing mounted on the rear nerf you can bet there will be cars with top wings mounted on the rear nerf soon after! lol.
