With this new format, any post longer than a short sentence runs off of the end of the screen and I have to mouse back and forth across the bottom to read most posts. On the Delphi boards I can fix that by adjusting the font size, but that doesn't seem to work here.Or am I just not going small enough?

I could be wrong but I think that this only happens on posts that were cut & paste.....

What Browser are you using. What do you have your screen resolution set on? Give me a link to a thread that you have this problem on. I don't have a problem with it so if you can tell me your set up and give me a link to a thread that you have this problem on I will see if I can duplicate it. Jeff

I don't know how to link you a thread or cut and paste or any of that techo BS. I just read and post. Until this board format I didn't have a problem. When I clicked on my own post just now I could read it without moving the bottom back and forth, but after I registered to post this reply suddenly the post was wider and ran off of the screen. I have a 1997 Compaq with Windows 98, so I probably just plain screwed with this new format.

I think the problem comes from someone who posts too big of a picture or signature in one of the threads. For me at least those are the only posts that I have to scroll right and left to read.

What is your screen resolution set to. I would guess if you have a 9 year old computer you have a small monitor (15inch) which means you have the resolution set low. Jeff

Jeff, with this new board it seems I have to type everything on WORD first and then cut and paste it for the format to be correct for some reason. If I type more than a few lines on here, the text won't wrap around anymore. If you look at the message you're going to post in HTML format it starts getting " " after every single word after a certain point. Even this message was a pinch too long and I had to cut and paste it from WORD so it would fit.

I typed the above in too see what it looked liked and I do not see a problem with it when I look at it in code view. It all looks correct.
What browser and version are you using?
Thanks Jeff

I do not have to scroll on any of these messages in the thread. Do you have to scroll on any of them? All looks good on the above message when I view it.

I have to scroll side to side on pages 3 & 4 of the thread titled "BUY! BUY! BUY!". There's more but that's the one I just noticed.
(Actually, on a side note, I wish that thread would go "BYE! BYE! BYE!")
I haven't noticed any problems typing in text but then again, I don't post 50 times/day (nodust?)

Oh, Jeff, also by the way...nodust's videos still auto-start in FIREFOX.

I don't have to scroll on any of the pages but I probably have a higher resolution monitor then most are using. I will look into it to see if I can fix it.
The auto start in firefox must be a bug since the parameters are set to not auto start and it does anyway. IE it does not auto start. Jeff

Yep, the scroll bar shows up on page 4 of the Buy, Buy, Buy thread
and Hawker's and Cubic's posts go off the right side if I don't scroll.

I too have been noticing this problem. But it doesn't seem to happen every time I post. It looks like it does it if you put an odd character in or if you go back, while typing and make a correction. Most of the time I use IE 6.0 Service Pack 2 with a 17" monitor set a 600x800.

I think I have the scrolling issue fixed after a 8 hour session of
trying to figure out what how to cure the problem. Let me know if
you still have the scroll problem.
Thanks Jeff
