4 days away and the count down is on !!
The racing should be Interesting and EXCITING, if the track can get where the drivers can do some slide jobs, there should be some good, back and forth racing, will be a little more narrow , than the chili bowl, but if there is a little more banking, It could shape up to be for some real good heats and features.

I dont know of anyone that is doing any live coverage

Doesn't look like three feet of banking to me... in fact it looks pretty darn flat.

That reminds me of when the Heartland Park drag strip was covered with dirt, two straights and two turns......

Wow!

I applaud all those involved in putting this on. The promoters, racers, and fans.

But I think the Chili Bowl is safe. LOL

Good Luck, hope it provides some decent racing.

Probably a great track for R/C cars!

Make sure and bring some extra $$$$ and pick up a copy of Bud Hunnicutts book "Up on the wheel" which I understand Bud will have on sale there, just in time for Christmas. I just got my copy in the mail last week. Will make a great addition to the race fan that likes to read in the off season, and likes history as well.
