Yep. Brandon Wimmer will be driving the Redi-Green 1k, Aussie Trevor Green will be in Cali for the full tour with an Aussie funded team and a Cool chassis, Brad Sweet will be back full time .

Brett Miller, Willie Croft and Rick McCormack(2nd Elite car) will also be new full time runners with GSC. Former non wing shoe Evan Suggs will also be running many of the shows.

Another guy we should probably include in this is Roger Crockett. According to IBRacn, he is driving the Roger Henderson 7n car in 45 events this season. So one would expect that that might include many, if not all, of the GSC races. Roger C only hit 2 GSC races last year.

There actually wasn't a formal announcement about Kent's retirement, but he is retired and going to be focusing on his family and business this year. We'll see how long long he stays out though. :)

And yes Crockett and the 7n team will probably be running around 1/2 of the GSC schedule. Similar to what they did with Steve. It also has been noted that Crockett will probably be running his fathers car at Mini Gold Cup.

Also can't forget that Aussi Trevor Green will be running with GSC full time starting on April 14 at Ocean Speedway.

Stephen Allard will be running all the Chico GSC races and he wants to hit all the Tulare and Hanford ones as well if finances will allow them to do so.

All in all it looks like it should be another great year.

Its a sad day when one of the top five best drivers ever in California retires.
