For the first time in sprint car racing history, a female sprint car driver has a die-cast model car being made.

And that die-cast model will be featured on an upcoming episode of "CSI: Miami" during prime-time network TV. Details of the episode airtime will be known at a later date.

The network has contacted the mint13.com team, the script is in development and they are in possession of the die-cast models. The network said that it is going to be a really cool and unique episode.

Future news updates will be made available at the team website and to check out the new die-cast models, please visit www.mint13.com then click on the merchandise link from within the site.

All of this comes on the heels of the announcement that mint13.com has acquired an 'off season' ride in Australia beginning later this fall. New 'Australian Tour' t-shirts are in the works and will be available soon. For information on the Australian tour, please follow this link from SprintCarDaily.com at:

While any extra exposure is good, based on what I know about TV production, the network usually buys TV shows from producers, like CBS (the network) buying shows from Jerry Bruckheimer's company(the CSI shows).

So why would the network be communicating with the mint13 folks? Shouldn't the mint13 folks be speaking with the production company and granting licenses to them?

And really cool? Well, while most of the CSI shows are well acted, the synopsis is about the same...

Someone gets killed; the CSI team investigates; and then they catch the crook....maybe the crook will use the die cast to beat someone to death.......

It's definitely a victory for sprint car fans, teams and related industry businesses across the country for a chance to get 'mainstream' acceptance of sprint car racing through a TV show such as this.

And it's cool that the network contacted them to tie it all together.

I just want to know who her publisist is, I mean that is a lot of exposure for someone who has never won a sprint car race! How do you get a ride in Australia with those creditials? It is great for sprint car racing just too bad they are not going to use someones car that is actually somewhat mainstream and actually wins races.

PS OKCfan I got two words for you....sexual predator, I mean come on dude you sound like a stalker!
