I posted this on the NorCal site but thought I'd put it here too for those of you that don't go there.
On a night that started out pretty disappointing in terms of race action for the non-wing return at Calistoga Tim Kaeding, Jesse Hockett, Brent Kaeding and Kevin Swindell put on a fierce battle like you have never seen on a rubber down race track. This race will be etched in my racing memories until alzheimer's strikes.
My crappy video does not do this justice. I shot this with a pistol grip digital camera that I aimed like a radar gun while I was watching the battle. Play it full screen from YouTube if you can. Fear not... USAC had a camera rolling, so look for some real footage on their web site sometime soon.
