how many times do we have to see a decent start halted by a yellow flag and then followed up by a pathetic restart where cars are really out of whack and many times guys are tearing up equipment by crashes and flips? every time i go this happens. isn't this ever discussed? i can't believe how this always goes on. who's decision is it to throw the yellow on these? i heard it's not the flagmans call. who's is it and why don't they get their crap together and quit making these idiotic calls?

We must have been watching different races together because the starts that were called back were terrible. As far as the starts causing the flips, I believe it was mistakes made by drivers thinking they fit where they did not and not the start. They seem to think they can win the race on the first lap and try to drive through others to get to the front. Some drivers lack patience and feel they need to force their way around someone else. That is sure what caused the nasty crash between Mock and Kertscher.

Damn, I thought you had gone by the wayside this season and no longer attended the shows.

You know full well, Steve and the Staff of the IRA is more than approachable after the racing and even though you may not get the answer you want to hear, at least you get an answer.

Have you been banned from Symoens over at his board where you should be airing out your complaints where it is more substantive? You continue to address your IRA issues here-for what self-serving purpose do you get?

One hears it in jest-but at times, the unofficial slogan of the club:

"It's not an IRA show, unless someone goes home mad."

Not everyone leaves the track with the same optimism and hope as when they checked-in. It's unfortunate, but not everyone is gonna be pleased with an outcome of a call, a start, an issue. Always gonna be the two sides with one benefactor and the one who gets "screwed". You can just hope it gets handled where the lesser of two evils is way less.

Your absence was refreshing, so back under the bridge, rock or card board box you call home.

wow! yeah, we must be seeing different races. i agree with you on Michael's hero Kertcher however.

and Michael, you're just a kiss-ass weasel. you're "Bill W" attempts at reporting races is really lame. and you're brilliance is really shown on the GOTOMN board. you really are the dork that i have been picturing all along, aren't you? how's you're fantasy football team looking btw? lol....

and talk about self-serving purposes. you're the only "veteran" that writes up a boastful post about you're "service" to you're country. hopefully you were more valuable over there!

WOW.  Just WOW.  Talk about picturing a dork........

You're REALLY gonna insult the ONLY guy that puts out any sort of quality IRA results?  AND you're gonna disrespect his status as a Veteran U.S. Serviceman?  His (and all his brethren's) service is what allows you to continue to be a jag on this board.

I personally feel sorry for Mock & everybody else that Kertscher has run over this year ! I must also say I am glad he detroyed his own car as well this time, maybe his actions will hit home instead of everybody alse's pocketbook.

i'm insulting a guy that deserves it. i guess you're not much more credible than him. he started it again and i had to let it be known that by him, himself insinuating that he is a hero, just seems a little abnormal for someone who is supposed to be in an elite group.

here ya go! from my friend Michael 98 on GOTOMN.com

Friend and IRA part-timer, Mike Kertscher sustained a broken arm and a bunch of minor injuries in a wreck and tangle in turn 1 with the wall and another competitor last night at Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in IRA competition.

2003 IRA Rookie of the Year, raced IRA events for a few full seasons after that-only been running events closer to the home base in the past two seasons now and had just come off a win at Wilmot and runner-up at Charter in the last two IRA shows.

They were not gonna hit all the final 6 shows anyway, but the team was looking forward to some good runs at tracks Mike really enjoys and has won the likes of Dodge County and Plymouth.

The car/team is likely done for the season, I'll check with Mike if he wants some info posted for other fans to send him well wishes.

Talked to him earlier and he is more mad than hurt, he'll be alright though.

As one of the respected guys in SprintCar and Midget once called those who hide behind fake user name "weenies". I see the weenies are out to crucify Mike or Kim. Both are good tough racers. They don't take nor give. Yes there has been some bad blood between them but when on the track it's to easy for someone to get hurt. Cars are replaceable human beings are not. I'll admit I don't have the big things needed to race a sprint car. If you internet weenies have the bucks and guts, saddle up boys and bring depends. I had the pleasure to drive on of Randy Sipple's car at Hales,by myself. It gave me an instant respect for those who do. Mikey get better, Kim put toghether another car and "lets go racin boys".
