have a rookie driver that is having braking problems. came in last race with brakes so hot they were almost melting. other drivers have been telling him to use his brakes to help hold the car down. isnt working so good for him. hope someone can give suggestions or the right way to use his brakes . thanks [email protected]

Sounds to me you need a new braking system. We had that happen to our car last year. Cheap brakes don't help. Our car's brakes were glowing after 2 laps. I have been gone from the race season this year, but when I was back, I asked one of the guys if they got new brakes. They said yes $1500 and what a difference it makes.

Try Red Devil brake rotors 10 1/2 inch inboard rotor Either Ti rotor if you can run it with the series you race with or the 10 1/2 inch steel coated

It's not cheap to buy but well worth it here's a place that will help you with your brake needs

www.artspeedequip.com

When a guy says to use the brake to keep the car loaded you run it in the corner under the wing and drag the brake not stab it, so drag it on entrance then take your foot off when the car is pointed straight
