TEN-YEAR DEAL:

American Sprint Car Series founder Emmett Hahn and Susquehanna Speedway Park co-promoter Todd Fisher have agreed that ASCS will sanction 360 Sprint racing at the track for the next 10 years.

"We have each made a long-term commitment to each other so that it does not leave any doubt in the minds of the fans, drivers, owners and sponsors as to where each of us stands for the long-term future," Fisher said. "It is important that everyone knows exactly where we stand with the future. We would sign the same commitment with other divisions on the schedule, such as ARDC Midgets, Super Sportsman, Late Models and Street Stocks, if such an agreement existed."

The 410 Sprint Cars are axed from weekly action and replaced by 360 Sprints that will race mostly on Sunday evenings.

"Some things worked. Some did not," Fisher said. "Our plans are falling right into place for where we are at.

"We tried various divisions and race nights and now, heading into year four, many things will become standard as we know what works and what does not. We will continue to experiment with new ideas, but most likely the nights of racing will remain permanent as many factors were beginning to affect the weekday racing."

With the way the Royals have been playing, you could classify this as "Busch League."

Don't confuse the Royals (Bush league) with the Cardinals (Busch League).

Hope springs eternal every March and Alex Gordon can hit...

Bill, you know how much time I've spent in KC the last half dozen years and I have still not met as big a Royals fan as you, what's that say, lol? Kim's Sister baby-sits next door to George Brett, can I get you something? Take It Easy....

No Mike, I've got all the Brett memorabilia/autographs I need, thanks. Wouldn't want to see you carted off his lawn. If they win half their games, watch the fans crawl out of the woodwork!

Well I ain't going to tell you I am a Texas Ranger fan cause I don't wanna hear about the other infamous corked bat player we have seem to have acquired this winter.

Bill, my 14 yr. old son and I made our first ever trip to see the Royals when they played the Rangers back in 2005 and we love that "outdated" stadium. We had more fun than almost any other and hope to do it again. And I always thought Angel Berroa had tons of talent and would be a superster.
