I have an answer for one of your thoughts.

"how is it that jac haudenschild has never won a WoO championship?"

While Haud's driving style makes him one of, if not THE most popular sprint car drivers on the planet, it's also not a recipe for winning championships. Championships are won with consistency and Haud just plain wrecks out of too many races. I absolutely love the guy but I don't see him finishing higher than 8th in points this year. Steve, Donny, TK, Lasoski, Meyers, Saldana and Dollanksy are all better suited when talking about points.

Now god darnit go prove me wrong Haud!!! :)

2006 is over, 2007 is upon us.

Last year, the NST didn't fare real great when they met the WoO head to head, but that was last year.

I am looking forward to 2007 and the new challenges it will face.

There is no such thing as a bad sprint car driver in the professional series.

Daron Clayton is an absolute joy to watch in a sprinter and I hope he and his family can stay with it for a few more years.

Steve, Sammy and Haud all in their 50's or near in Jac's case are still winning against guys 20 years or more younger.

Andy Bondio built two of the baddest midgets racing has ever known.

I don't think there is a nicer driver out there than Dave Darland.

The WoO will return to "The Ditch" for the first time in 20 plus years this year and I'm anxious to see them.

Shane Cottle is becoming a very versatile driver.

I won't be going back to Terre Haute until Dave Allison is gone.

Haubstadt rules!

good 'ol haud he just knows one speed and it is FLAT OUT. on the way back to the hotel after the first night of the 2006 trophy cup after jac used up a fine piece in turn 1 while leading by about a straight away i asked him "was that fence as hard as it looked?" he laughed 'cause he knew i was asking why he had not eased up a bit when he knew there was a bad bump going in to turn 1. then he said"there was no way i was going to slow down with TK behind me at tulare!"

then the next night he put on a clinic in a car we all piched in and built from SCRATCH in the pits sat morning. coming from 13th to win while driving on the turn 1 crash wall with BOTH right side tires to miss a flipping brad sweet. after that he said he figured out how to get around that joint. he said when you think you can't run 'er in any higher or deeper you aren't driving in deep OR high enough! you are pretty much correct when you say haud is not good at points racing, but boy it's fun to watch him try. we all know this will be a much more competitive season and rick is going to do everything he can to give jac and bonz what they need to compete.but in the end it is what they do with it that will determine the results. but jac is our guy and we are behind him. schatz told us the only reason he doesn't root for haud is because he (donny) doesn't sit in the stands! jac is as far as i know still TK's favorite driver. like wise tk is jac's favorite to watch.

i can't remember big john getting upside down either.but i can remember him getting us upside down when i was with mike sargent. john had that damn side mirror and mike would say there was no passing that guy on the inside cause he could see you coming and if you tried to pass on the out side he would give you a wheel! but i do remember john telling us he would straighten those big 4x8 top wing side panels we all used to run by laying them on the street and driving over them with a truck. boy those wings were HEAVY

we are hoping to have some sprint racing close to home in the SJ area this year that is why rick wright and ocean speedway are running the Wright One Construction 360 series with the return of the Johnny Key Classic.

The only thing missing from your title was the last three words, "from a dummy".

If anyone needs the proof, read your third comment and look at last nights results, nuff said? The Outlaws pounded the NST on a head to head basis last year and their big dogs will finish in front of them again this year. But TK will win the Kings Royal, remember where ya' heard it. Take It Easy....

PS I have finally discovered a CA Posse porch dweller as irritating and obvious, sometimes clueless as many of his PA Posse cousins, dang it took long enough, sorry to all me west coast friends....
