They ran WL on Saturday 6-21. Sounds like it was a good night. Brian Harris from Davenport is putting himself in a position for decent NASCAR paycheck at the end of the year. Shelley Mizel would have won her first hobby stock race there, but apparently some miscommunication or confusion in post race saw her load up and leave immediately after the race instead of waiting around for tech to come to her pits and check what they wanted to.
Looks like 34 Raceway also ran.

How did all the Muscatine and Wilton area cars get there? I hear that I80 bridge...the only option they would have left as far as I know...is pretty scary with one of the pillars missing.

Sprint
Our only option was to take I-80 this weekend to Knoxville - All other highways are closed to Burlington still, I talked to a buddy at Knoxville Saturday who is from Burlington and he guessed Hwy 34 to be closed for a few more weeks due to the rock bed being washed out from under the highway.
I heard that the gravel road on the North side of Hwy 22 just as you cross the bridge (The Nichols Sale Barn road, I believe it is called Iron City Avenue) If it was not washed out to bad that it could be an possibility of access from Liberty to Muscatine once they get it fixed. It bypasses around the damaged area of Hwy 22 and comes back out close to the Nichols turn off. Have not heard any more about that for a few days though, I know the flood of 1993 washed all the levees out on Iron City road and it was also heavily damaged so!!!
Didn't know one of the pillars was out on I-80!!!! I'm surprised they would even open it back up with the recent tragedy in Minnesota. I would imagine there are a plethera of bridges that are comprimised in the state of Iowa right now.

Paint...yeah I spent a little bit of time on I80 getting to Knoxville this week but found some other scenic routes to go in between I80 and 92. Wasn't bad at all, just new. A friend from WL came over on 92 and said it was still pretty scary, that if you got an inch off the road you would be in the water and that you could stick your hand out the window and catch a fish.

LOL well I am glad I took I-80 because I tend to get an inch off the road from time to time. Update on the roads, Hwy 70 from Nichols to Columbus Junction & Hwy 92 crossing the Iowa going towards Grandview from Junction are now open.
