Did Kasey Kahne not run last night, because he didn't finish higher Friday night? If so,what a puss. That's part of the excitement of the Chili Bowl, seeing a top driver trying to make it up the ladder.I believe he was possibly the only driver to not race, except for the ones who severly damaged their cars or were hurting from previous wrecks. He didin't leave me with a very good impression of himself.

Kahne, did not race because he did not make the show. His car was fast but he had the worst luck in the world. Everyone keep wrecking in front of him and he had no where to go. I talked with him and he was very bumbed. He was there for the fans to take pictures and that kind of stuff. I am not a Kahne fan but he was very nice all weekend. His luck sucked.

The thing about the Chili Bowl is that EVERBODY makes the show. Luck only factors in as to whether the car will run, and the driver has all their parts. If you have a car that will run at all you stay and run Saturday.

Why be so hard on Kasey for not running Saturday? I read somewhere last week that he had said in an interview that making the trip to Austrailia was a big mistake because of all of the obligations he had here in the states. He even spent Christmas there. I don't know when he got to Tulsa but I assume he flew in directly from down under. He's been non-stop for weeks, didn't qualify well (possibly due to jetlag etc.). What was he to gain by running Saturday? He did fullfill his commenment to the autograph session on Friday. He needed and deserved some free time for himself and family. He's a young man probably overwhelmed with all that is expected of him, give the boy a break!

he has been back since at least the beginning of last week considering he was in daytona testing where things didn't go that well either so he was having a long rough week and probably had his fill.

I haven't been on this forum very long but one thing I noticed right away is there are some self righteous name calling punks on this forum who jump to conclusions and pass judgement like they were Saint Peter standing at the gate.

I might be wrong but I do know KK had some obligations on Sunday that he had to attend. I wonder if with the ice storm if he didn't leave early to assure he could fulfil yet another obligation. I would also like to say how refreshing it was to watch Kasey interact with the fans and sign numerous autograph requests on the spot . Kasey is a great kid who absolutley LOVES to race anything anywhere and I for one appreciated his being there along with the other 280+ competitors.

I think he's the guy who checks to see if your hands stamped.

Right on Mr. Clausen, Kasey is a Class Act. All the times I have met him he is very fan friendly.

He would of raced if he wanted to .

The other day, you posted that Fred Rahmer is against 360 racing because he is scared of getting the crap kicked out of him. Now, you write that Kasey Kahne is a "chickshit." Do you ever post anything that doesn't bash the drivers or call them names?
