well, if they chevy did not sponsor him in the car then.... If he was running a mopar then Chevy can't say anything about it. If Chevy wanted their name said then they should have sponsored him in the midget. Happens alot.
Plus, I am sure some place in the contract it says something about it. Pretty well along the lines Tony does not have to say anything.
I mean most beer contracts say a driver can't get other sponsors from beers, or be seen drinking other beers.
Anyway, I am sure Chevy can't say shit. If they do then maybe next year they will try and help out more drivers.

Same as that hulabaloo a few years back when Danny Lasoski was described as driving a different car than the Bass Pro Mopar, or they got his engine builder or toenail painter wrong, what a storm in a tea cup that was.

nah, I knew of the Chevy sponsor but I was mis reading and thought you all were bashing Chevy on not signing a 'pre season' run like the Chili Bowl. Not like I didn't know of it. Like maybe Chevy would be mad at Tony for running a mopar when they have a up and coming contract. Then mopar gets announced and they would be mad. Anyway, i would have been right if he was running a Mopar. But I spoke before I was I saw he DID have a Chevy.
Yeah, I am one to bash myself if I get it totally wrong. I miss read this one and got it way wrong by my understanding of internet conversation.
So, Yeah, I mis-spoke. So, my real opinion on my now new seen idea on the past statement. It is not Tony's or any drivers fault when a person of the 'media' says a different sponsor than they have. All a driver, owner and crew can do is try and correct it as soon as they can to please the real sponsor.

For all the people that bad mouth Tony about not signing autographs he is still signing at Tulsa and when security wanted to close the line he said no Maybe people who get turned down should consider the time and place If he is racing or trying to prepare for a race I don't blame him for saying no If he stopped to sign one he would be signing for an hour Think about it

Yeah, and it looks like TS has slimmed down a little! Having Chevy as a sponsor is good for him. :)
