Guess I can put away my blue and gray pompoms now and sit back, relax and whoever wins wins.

I hear ya there David. That was one of the worst play calls I ever saw a future hall-of-fame coach make (field goal call). Of course it never helps when your holder ........ who also happens to be your so-called "star" quarterback ..........blows the game. And OU product Roy Williams has become almost an embarrasement when the ball is in the air. I think he would be better as a line-backer. But in the end the one thing that hurts Big D the most...............is Jerry Jones. He is a buffoon.

When Dallas did NOT tell Parcells to hand over the reigns to Sean Peyton, they sealed themselves for what could turn into a long time. That was absolutely ignorant.

It will get better though, David. In about 4 or 5 years. Both the Sooners and the Cowboys both had good seasons.........with the ending to both being about as bad as it could be.

But on the flip side to that coin. My team is still in it. I think they're still the favs to win the Super Bowl with what might end up being the best player in football history. Go CHARGERS! and Ladanian Tomlinson!

I will lean towards the Colts and Payton myself, only because Payton has fun both off and on the field and that is the way it should be. Plus they are way overdue.

Yes, the way both the Sooners and Cowboys season came to an end was rather depressing. Isn't it ironic that Romo came in and was the hero and the savor and then when it came to crunch time he became the goat. But he gained tons of experience and hopefully learned alot so I finally feel better about our quarterback situation for the first time since Troy retired.

Terrance Newman and Roy Williams both are probably two of the most devestating hitters in the NFL but you could pass against them all day long and have success. Don't think they could even cover their sister.

The OU mens basketball team is going to have a long season so my attention now (until race season begins) will be focused on the beautiful OU women and my next wife - Stacey Dales - as an analyst for ESPN. The girls basketball team is fun to watch.

yeah man Romo will be alright. And yes sir Stacey Dales is Foxxxxxxyyyyyyyy............Wink

But they (Cowboys) did screw themselves when they didn't do all they could to keep Sean Peyton (Saints current head coach).
